What Mr.Mattero did
I skipped to the ending I this story and I kinda spoiled it but what I didn't like about one of the main charcters in my story (Claire). I'm not liking how they lied and said the things their music teacher did when he didn't. Just because her friend didn't get ther part in the music concert thingy. Even though she said she didn't feel right doing it, she still went along with it. And it caused this whole big mess. She ended up transferring, her shy friend Suzanne who she's known since like kindergarten went to catholic school. And the stupid (my opinion) Jenna caused her parents to get a divorce. Well not really because of what she did but because her mom was cheating. And now Claire can't talk to either one of them. But Claire was already messed up because she is practiclly anorexic. She barley eats and she randomly talks about calories in anything she's about to eat. Even her mom gave up (exact words) on trying to feed her. I was so happy when Phoebe her new friend told her she could eat, and like burn it off. I mean she still talks about swimming way more than needs, to burn more calories off. But it's a start. Overall I don't really like this story. One because of the characters. Two because the idea makes no sense. No one would ever do something like that. No matter how brainless they may be. And three because of the way it was told. Through the eyes of one of the three girls and the daughter of the music teacher accused. I would of liked if they could of told it through all 3 girls and the teacher himself.

What Janie Found
My book is the last in the series. I have read the first and the second but skipped the third because I couldn't find it. But this books keeps going back to what happened in the previous book, so I have pretty good understanding of it. So Janie-well really Jennie- was kidnapped when she was just three years old by a Hannah Javenson. Hannah was "different" Asa child growing up. Her parents Frank and Miranda Javenson thought that he problem was that she didn't have any friends, because she she had a good life. Her parents weren't rich, but they lived descently. After Hannah leftbfor college, she did make friends, people part of a cult. She lost all contact with her parents until years later she showed up with little Janie. She left her with her parents never to be found again. Frank and Miranda had fell for the lie that Janie was their granddaughter. But in fear of the cult coming after her. They ran off with janie and changed their last name to Johnson. Very thing was fine until Janie recognized her face on the milk carton at school. Throughout the first and second book. Janie meets her real family, but eventually moves back in with fake family.she falls in love with her next door neighbor. And no one knows where Hannah is. As if she fell of the face of the earth. In the third book. Reeve heads off to college and tells Janie's story for his job at the radio station. Janie gets mad and braks up with him. In this book now, Reeve is trying to win Janie back. Frank had a stroke and heart attack and is in aroma. Oh, and Janie found out that her dad has been supporting his real daughter-kidnapper Hannah- which means he's known where she has lived. Janie sets off with reeve and her real brother from her real family Brian to meet Hannah. But they refuse to let her do it so she is lying. Her excuse to even go to Boulder, Colorado is that her real older brother Stephen goes to college there. So no one suspects a thing except Brian and reeve who are trying to keep a close eye on her.
I find this series crazy yet it keeps pulling me in. Thaey always end the book with a new big mystery. So you can't stop and just put the book down. You have to keep reading. I like how although this big issue is going on. There still is time for love, and happy family moments. But there is always a twist to remind you what the big picture is in this story. The plot would seem crazy but everything really flows. What I don't like is how the story is told. In third person. I like first or second but I hate third person stories. I really don't like that Janie and Reeve are broken up, because he's been there from the beginning. First as a friend then boyfriend. And even though they aren't together, he still is there for her. So that shows a lot and I think they will eventually get back together. When I think Bout Janie's living situation, with her fake parents rather than the real parents. I'm torn. Because iw understand that you grew up with this family practically all your life. But I also feel sad for the other parents. Because they finally found their daughter. And they can't have her. They vist and talk over phones but they will never be a real family. But in the book. The real parents are okay with janie living with her fake parents.

When it Happens
This book is about Sara looking for "something real" this to her is new exchange student last year. Dave. He asked hr for her number last day of school and didn't call all summer. Tobey is looking for "something real" preferably Sara. He's had his eyes on her for a while, but just can't get the courage up to talk to her. Always ends up making a fol of himself.
This to me is the typical happily ever after teenage story. Guy gets girl, girl so happy, blah...blah...blah...blah...blah...
But this story I noticed s actually somewhat different. It deal with realistic life issues. Things that interest teens. Things that draw us in. Things like boy trouble, but not just boy trouble. School problems too. Like getting your grades up to get in a great college. Things that seem remotely possible in reality. And it dos not have the "perfect body" image. There is self-consciousness, and problems regular people deal with everyday in the real life.

Independent Book: Fat Cat
pg. 1-184:
Fat Cat is about a girl named Catherine Locke who is fat. She thinks her life is heading no where until she gets the greatest idea ever in her genus mind. And she owes it all to Matt...Sort of. If she didn't look at him in the middle of choosing oh so special picture that started this whole thing. Then this book wouldn't have existed. So thank you Matt. Anyway, her perfect idea as her science experiment for Mr. Fizer's class is to go back in time before microwave, and Doritos, and oreos and all processed and manufactured food existed. Also make-up, television, and any other electronics. Back to when all you ate was bushes, nuts, and meats you hunted on your ow. ALL NATURAL foods. Cat has not only come up with a way to loose a few pounds, but create the best science project ever. But most of all, she will be able to beat Matt for once since seventh grade. And what a bad year that was for her. And this brilliant idea came form a picture of Homo Erectus. Early hominins from 1.8 million years ago. But there's one problem. This project is due in seven moths. 207 months to be exact. How can Cat stay away from everything junk and electronics for seven months?

Bridge to Terabithia:
"Jess tried going to Terabithia alone, but it was no good. It needed Leslie to make the magic. He was afraid he would destroy everything by trying to force the magic on his own..."
My question was, why is Jess so afraid of everything? Why can't he just take a chance?
I saw how Jess didn't have any confidence in himself. He thinks he will mess up Terabithia if he does anything. He feels like he needs Leslie so badly in his life. And b/c of that it will make the effect of Leslie's death hit him real hard.. He thinks it is soemthing Leslies does or says that makes it all appear. I think he gets this from his family. They have raised him to do one thing. And that I believe is to follow other peoples rules. Not his own. He is growing up and has no clue what he wants to do is be the fastest runner in fifth grade. What will he do in high school? or college? Will he even go to college?
He says he loves to draw? But is too afraid his family will be embarrased by him. Love him less. And he is afraid that his school mates (no friends) will look down on him more than they already do. The only way he does fit in is when it comes to being the fastest runner. He is hanging on to this tiny string for life. When he meets Leslie it's different. He feels as if he can be his true self and nothing or no one could hurt him in any way. Like when he brough Maybelle Leslie teaches him to be a leader. Not a follower.
